There is much debate on the usefulness of maintaining ICPI certification. Some say it's worth it, others say it doesn't mean anything to customers and doesn't bring any leads.
Is it legal to advertise that everything is built to ICPI standards logobut not maintaining your membership? You are not boasting you're currently certified, but you're giving them credit for using their standards. I wouldn't feel this is dubious to the customer, because you're a not claiming to be certified b you're building to the ICPI standards. What are you're thoughts? I'm not saying I won't continue, not saying I will. I'm just inspired by my ex wife.

I have read some of responses on this forum and wanted to provide some background regarding the ICPI Concrete Paver Installer certification program. The purpose of the program is to educate installers on installation best practices of interlocking concrete pavement systems.
The certification requires that installers have installation experience and pass an exam show knowledge of the subject matter. In order to maintain the certification continuing education is required. Certified installers are permitted to use the certified installer logo based on their acceptance of guidelines to use the logo.
