Apr 02, · Hi, I purchased Stormblood a few days ago, and I have been waiting the past few days to install the 10GB that the launcher says, however the internet speeds that I am seeing from the launcher are worrying, as it says that I am downloading mb/s, and that it is going to take minutes, which is very strange considering the client usually updates patches and updates at around mb/s. Make sure you've got nothing else using your internet connection. I'm on PS4, but when I've got the full use of my connection available, it uses the full speed, ffxiv slow download pc. It's not "bad configuration". I suppose the downloader itself might just be badly broken, but the inconsistent behavior lends itself more to network issues. So: check UPnP. My caveat emptor is just that for a lot of people, it's none of the above.
